The holdIT™ automated self-service reservations kiosk is designed to enable libraries to extend their opening hours by creating a self-service pick-up point that you can place in both indoor or outdoor environments. It’s an automated system that allows librarians to remotely load lockers. All a user has to do is scan the item in the application. holdIT™ then dedicates a locker and prints a receipt with a barcode, indicating the item and locker number. Once a bin reaches its capacity and ready to be loaded into the system, the library staff will scan the barcode on the receipt attached with reserved items. By doing so, the system will automatically unlock the right locker and place the item in.
The system streamlines things for users. When a user scans their card, the system displays the items from where the user can proceed to open the locker and check out. As a self-check system, holdIT™ automated reservations kiosk makes it easy for users to hold, pick up and return items with ease and safety. You can either connect to a third-party database or use our own database. Besides, the system comes in a variety of colours.
